The International Conference of Medical Education organized by King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health sciences in partnership with National Guard Health Affairs<\/a><\/span>, and in collaboration with Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (AMEEMR) has launched its activities today the 6th of April 2013 at the University International Convention Center \u2013 Riyadh. The conference hosts speakers and representatives from more than 60 countries, and the registration is available for more than 1000 participants from doctors to health practitioners, locally and internationally.<\/p>

HE Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Executive Officer, NGHA, and President, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) pointed out the importance of this conference as KSAU-HS is an academic specialized institution, that is committed to taking the initiative to host quality forums and provide opportunities to exchange experience and develop health environment efficiency, which will ensure providing future national leadership that will be able to take the initiative in leading and creating similar programs in the field of medical education in and outside the NGHA in the future.<\/p>

Dr. Ibrahim Alwan al Alwan, Chairman of the Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (AMEEMR) and the Dean of college of Medicine \u2013 (KSAU-HS) stressed out that creating opportunities for international networking and cooperation ensures the communication continuity with symbols of medical education worldwide. He added that \u201cMedical Education Quality Conference\u201d is very important due to its direct relations with health practice which is sought after by both the service provider and the recipient in the Kingdom\u201d.<\/p>

The conference is expected to have the participation of college of medicine representatives of more than 60 countries, including all deans of colleges of medicine in the gulf region and the Middle East as well as the presence of more than 1000 participants of experienced doctors and consultants in various fields of medicine. The conference program will also include workshops in various aspects of medical education.<\/p>

Dr. Saud AlJadaan Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, College of Medicine \u2013 (KSAU-HS) Riyadh stressed to the importance of the conference in promoting the highest scientific and ethical standards in medical education as well as the topics covered by the speakers including in medical education quality, evaluation and accreditation as one of the most important pillars of developing specialized education meeting the precise requirements of academic reliability and those whoa re interested such as physicians and specialists.<\/p>
